Once we located our foundation mares, of course,  we had to put thought into what stallions we would use in our program. We wanted similar attributes in the stallions we chose. We considered the strengths and weaknesses of each mare and looked for a stallion to compliment them. Using pedigrees as a starting point, we then viewed videos, visited farms, and attended shows like the Egyptian Event in Lexington, Kentucky. We realize it takes years to establish a program that people associate with a recognizable type and quality.  The mares and stallions that we have selected are associated with programs that have achieved this reputation and it is our belief that this gives us a head start towards obtaining that dream.

Our reference sires are pictured below.

He had a lovely head, not dished but very Arab and masculine. *Serag’s legs were excellent with clean dry bone and well shaped and proportioned hooves. Makhnificent KA
Makhnificent KA  (Makhsous x Star Bint Hafiza)

Makhnificent KA is one of two Makhsous son's standing at Kehilan Arabians. Bubba, as he affectionately known on the farm, has had a very successful show career including U.S. National Top Ten Yearling Sweepstakes Colt and U.S.. National Top Ten Futurity Stallion. He has also been the sire of Egyptian Event Champions and sire of Event EBC Champion and Reserve Champions. He is famous for his smooth body and topline, and his length of hip and croup are hard to beat. As a sire he is even more consistent than Makhsous.  Bubba adds type, tippy ears, big eyes, smooth bodies and beautiful faces.

We feel Makhnificent KA will make an excellent cross for a couple of our mares and have one mare, Nenaa in foal to him for a 2010 foal.
